Now that you know what foods to eat and what foods to avoid, let me show you how to flatten your stomach while driving in the car with this simple exercise. It's called "ab vacuums", and it's one of the easiest and most effective ways to strengthen your deep abdominal muscles and pull in your stomach.

Ab vacuums are simple to do, and you can do them anywhere and anytime. You can do them standing, seated (such as in a car), kneeling, or lying down. I prefer them seated or standing.

Here's how to do them:

  1. Start by inhaling deeply.
  2. Then, as you exhale, start pulling your belly button in towards your spine as far as you can.
  3. Hold this position for 10-20 seconds while taking short breaths.
  4. Repeat for several of these 10-20 second holds, perhaps 5-10 times if you have enough time while in the car.

That's it! That's all you need to do to flatten your stomach while driving in the car with this simple exercise.

I find it a good time to get in the habit of doing daily ab vacuums while driving on my daily commute or another time that would get me in the habit of doing them regularly. You can also do them while driving home from the gym, or during your lunch break, or whenever you have some spare time.

But please make sure this doesn't distract you from driving safely. I find that it doesn't distract me at all, since I can keep my eyes on the road at all times and both hands still on the wheel. It's certainly much safer than driving while on a cell phone!

Of course, ab vacuums can be done anywhere and anytime and don't have to be just for driving, but I've found that it helps me to remember to do them if I do them at a specific time when driving regularly.
